Can you hear my screams?
Can you see my shattered dreams?
Can you feel my pain?
Am I going insane?
No one can hear the voices I hear,
what they say and how they make me feel,
No one can see what I see,
the monsters or the confusing images,
No one can feel the fear I feel,
feeling like I'm always being watched
Can you hear my screams?
Can you see my shattered dreams?
Can you feel my pain?
Am I going insane?
No one can see I just want someone who cares,
someone who holds my hand and says everythings ok,
No one can hear me asking for help,
even though I'm screaming out to the world,
No one can feel my heart bleeding,
the wounds inside and out,
You can't hear my screams,
You can't see my shattered dreams,
You can't feel my pain,
I feel like I'm going insane!
In your darkest moments you
In your darkest moments you will never be alone. The mind can play tricks sometimes from us having the vad habit of listening to others' negativity all of our lives. You are in charge of you. When I begin to think negativity I know it is only how I perceived life as a misunderstood child at one time. I sit quietly and give myself "a good talking to". I used to allow myself to believe all the distorted things I perceived as a child, but once this coping skill was developed I became who I am meant to be. May sound crazy, but then, everyone is. It isn't just you!! You are not alone. Good that you at least know to reach out to others in your writing! Blessings and goodluck.
