Why do you feel the need to keep coming back into my life just to tell me you don't need me?
Why do you keep hurting me?
Why are you doing this to me?
I guess you thought breaking my heart once wasn't enough,
Crushing my soul once wasn't enough, Ripping my world apart once wasn't enough
So you had to carry on,
I tried to move on,
But you kept coming back,
And I kept letting you,
Thinking maybe this time I could persuade you, I know I shouldn't have given you control
To hurt me over and over again,
'Cause now there's a hole,
A hole in my heart, bigger than before,
I know I should have let go, then & there,
But I couldn't,
I couldn't let go,
I couldn't move on,
I couldn't leave,
How can I leave when you're the only one I've known to love?
My first love, My true love,
And I was hoping my last love too,
But you're not, so I bid you adieu,
Before the thought of leaving you was tough,
But now? Now I've had enough,
You've crossed the line,
You've made me feel like shit for the last time,
Its been a week we've been apart,
And already you're saying you've found your 'other half'
Didn't think you were the kind,
To be messing with my mind,
But I've learnt that from now on,
I need to move on,
No more going back to you, no more waiting around for you, no more wishing for you,
I've realised once and for all, I've got to move on.
