Demons
There's fear residing in me
Living alongside my demons,
The demons who are trying to escape.
Open us a portal,
Maybe for a little while,
Then maybe we'll leave you be,
Maybe you'll be left in peace,
But careful, you can't let people see,
They can't know the real you,
For if they did, they'd run and scream,
Calling you a monster.
I'll push the demons back,
Deep inside where no one can find them,
In hopes they won't come to play,
At least not anytime soon anyway.
