~Winter Love~

Snowflakes fall like feathers to the ground,
and in this winters night you gently lay me down.

The melodies of your words slow softly into my ear,
and in the sight of your blue eyes I lose all sense of fear.

Your hands slip across me to revile not cloth but skin,
and as you join me under blankets of warmth I do the same within.

Your fingers slide across me sending shivers down my spine,
as I wrap my arms around you to show that you are mine.

Your lips press against my neck, my chest and shoulders to,
and as your body grows closer to mine I whisper “I love you.”.

Then you lay upon me joining your body with mine,
I feel our hearts race together as our souls intertwine.

As our bodies surge together in ecstasy and thrill,
we pull even closer until our bodies have had there fill.

Then we silently rest into a most loving embrace,
holding each other and lying face to face.
