 Here like Romeo and Juliet

lay some flaming desires…

I look around and the world is filled

with empty faces.

Forbidding eyes demand allegiance

to my true purpose.

I exist within myself alone,

but like roots our lives seem to intertwine.

Drifting into the promise of Eden,

gazing back at a life unknown.

I let go of what’s left

and open my eyes to a new chance.

Fear of the unknown is what holds all of us back,

but I am ready to dive in.

Am I in love with a fictional character?

Or have I drifted beyond the constrains of the Earth...

Let me stay forever in this dream

for time does not wait for us.

A lifetime of friendship

and the promise of a new life together...
