But maybe the sigh was one of relief, not fear
Expressions are often mistaken for numerous reasons.
Maybe there is no ending
But with our constant desire to label everything we call it the end
But never stop to think of anything beyond ourselves because the clock ticks on.
Never stopping for a single breath,
As I suffer an asthma attack.
I fall behind
Yet the clock keeps up pace.
For no one will ever win the race.
And with a click, a sigh, a bang
Father time takes strides in front of me
Nothing ended
For the clock still ticks
As it spirals on and on
Always a stranger to "the end"
I felt like I was starting a
I felt like I was starting a trip or something-
"And with a click, a sigh, a bang
Father time takes strides in front of me
Nothing ended
For the clock still ticks
As it spirals on and on"
So much mental imagery of the reality, physical form and the essence... it just makes sence to me.
I enjoy how you made this Part I and Part II.
