My Fairytale

What I would give only to love,

For something like the world above,

Pain seems to be all the world brings,

All of life's terrible things,

Like a hero dying upon the edge of his sword,

There will be no glory, death the only reward,

Like a heroine driven into madness,

I can feel myself screaming,

This time I am not only dreaming,

Running away from my fears,

They are right at the edge of my heels,

No one left to save me, no one left to care,

It's getting too much to bear,

The villain has almost won,

My life is almost done,

Never imagined my dreams could fail,

But they did inside of my fairytale.
