A touch on the shoulder, he tells her not to worry and that "it will be o.k."
With his tiny hand he eases the pain
At the same time making her ashamed
She is the boy's mother and so should carry any blame
But her support beam sometimes bows
Unable to carry the weight of the show
It is hard not to cry
Such an innocent gesture echoes through my head wishing it were true
Questioning maybe the boy knows more than you
His mind so pure and hers so polluted by time
A mother should never be this stuck in her mind
Unsure of reality or who she really is
The boy knows for sure and how she knows this ,
He looks right at her and he gives her a kiss
