When I first met You,
I felt that feeling in my heart.
And I dreamed that once You too
Tell that we won´t be apart.
That we will be together,
Having our love for each other forever.

As years went by,
We moved on in our lives -
Meeting person after person
Only to fail and try,
Listen to those heartbreaking lies -
Lies of being together,
Lies of loving and caring forever.

As our path crosses again,
I can only dream once more -
That You could forget the pain
And see in me something more-
More than just a person in the crowd
Trying to steal Your glance.
I wish I would be loved
And asked by You for a dance -
A dance that is called life,
Dance that will last for a while -
A while much longer than years,
Years that will be an eternity.
