Night's Wonder (That keep me Awake)

Folder:
The Point.

I sit down on the grass
As night is about to start
I feel the breeze as the cars pass
While eating a lemon tart
My mind wraps thoughts around
Thinking on how the moon is so bright
How this little town
Has so much might

The stars reflect their warm selves
As I shiver in the cold
Imaging St. Peters' bells
I was always told
That the future is bright
No matter how bleak it may seem.
As I look into the night sky as I dream.

As I yawn for I am tired
I can tell my night is ending
So near
So I walk to go to bed.
I say goodbye to the moon and stars
For I will see them again.
