Truth Between The Bully And The Bullied

Said the bully to the bullied
You are nothing
Because I say so
Said the bullied
To the bully
But you are nothing
Because you believe so
So why make others
Feel that way
If you know
How it feels
Said the angry bully
To the bullied
Silence
You don't know me
Said the bullied
To The bully
Yes I do
In many ways
I am you
Afraid of what
Others think
Afraid to say
The wrong thing
Scared of being
The real me
Just like you

Hell yes. This is why there

Hell yes. This is why there are so many who cannot forgive. Yes, you will never forget....but to understand a person's heart and soul is what changes the evil into good.

Blessings, peaceful one. Happy New Year. ♡♥♡

...and he asked her, "do you write poetry? Because I feel as if I am the ink that flows from your quill."

"No", she replied, "but I have experienced it. "

The truth:

To draw a line between these two arguing the toss not to be bullied or be a bully, is difficult. The bully is definately in the wrong with discriminatory personal remarks and or violence and or both. I disagree therefore that the bullied is the same as the bully. I hate bullying it is so damaging an awful experience. Your poem is interesting from the point of view that the bully is laying all the blame against the bullied, just further menacing through sharing the burden of guilt.

I was bullied

I was bullied relentlessly. The point of the poem is essentially to point out that a lot of bullies do what they do because they feel as insecure as the people they bully. Which is why in the poem I ask why do you do it if you know how it feels.
