The world is cruel
This much is true
And the dream of peace
No is nothing new
Just for all the steps forward
Too many have not learned a thing
An eye for an eye
Is how they live
And for the blind
They do live
For a better world
The claim to believe
But they don't see
A single thing
The blind leading the blind
Has run it's course
Now it's time
For something more
We need to believe in what
They never acknowledged before
And prove we are worth fighting for
