World of chaos
Minds so numb
At a loss somehow

For where this
Madness came from
Smart phones
And smart technology
Everywhere we look
But when it comes to us
We are so lacking
It has me shook

Trying to erase history
By banning books

In schools 

Under the lie
It's for the children
This is where

The end

Does sadly begin

To make us feel better
About the truth

We cannot face
If our children don't know

Then our pain can go
We convince ourselves daily 
In nothing but vain

Beyond insane
And apparently
To far too many

In charge in this country
That is more than ok

As long as they
Get their way
So they can get

Their pay
And don't have to face
What makes them
Uncomfortable
Because god forbid

Adults would still

Be willing to learn
Outside of a 

School setting
Then they don't
Really care
About who they hurt
In their eyes
None of us

Are anyone anyway
