I may be a freak
No you may not
Understand me
But at least
Unlike you
Instead of fake
I am real
And know what
It is to feel
Something other than
Hate and greed
Empathy isn't just
A word to me
It is an action
An emotipn
An important one
That isn't practiced
Nearly as much
As it should be
In a society
That likes to suck
The life right out of us
You, me,
And everybody
And if you ask me
If you are looking for
Real true change
To happen
In the world
I would start there
