But what to do

End up agreeing
On anything
Further dividing
A society
That can't take

Another day
More hate and war
Over things
Long ago forgotten
And even longer ago
Understood
By anyone
And yet still we sing
This same old song
As it brings us down
Without us ever
Even noticing
