summer in boston

Summer in Boston is the constant running sound of fans
I catch some guys eye in the reflection in the window of the train
I’m not a monster
Drunk, I walk to a nearby park and read Jane Austen in a tire swing
Love me, need me
I’m not a monster
Filling holes to leave craters

You just..

Not a monster,
but a friend to a fiend.
Always dancing.
Always wrestling with the demon beside me.

You just opened the cavity in my heart,
and poured in new inspiration.

This was wonderful!
The line that held me most was:

I catch some guys eye in the reflection in the window of the train.

Brilliant.
This stood out most to me,
because it always happens.
Wish I thought of it.
