the war
I turn off the news, when they start talking about the war,
I just can't stand to watch any more.
My little brother is over sea's ,
And I am sorry to say hearing about soldiers dying does not put my mind at ease.
My 5 year old ask more questions than I have answers to,
Tell me how would you answer him if it was you?
How do you pretty up a war,
I get so tired of lying at times I feel like I can't do it any more.
It is hard for me, to accept my 21 year old brother is in Iraq,
I say forget the war, send our soldiers back!
