You left me
You left a heartache that never goes away,
You left the question of why you could not stay.
You left a pain that has not lessen with time,
You left me with pride that I can call you mine.
You left memories that will have to last me,
You left my heart broken and empty.
You left me a mother without her son,
You left me with the guilt, wondering if there was more I could have done.
You left me with the tears that fall more times than not,
You might have left, but you have not been forgot.
You left my life, but not my heart,
You left me feeling like my life was falling apart.
You left me feeling lost and alone,
You left me because God called you home.
You left me with memories I will forever treasure,
You left me with more love than anyone could ever measure.
You left me with forever missing you,
How could I not miss you thats what mothers do.
You left me wondering why you had to go,
You left me hurting more than anyone will ever know.
When your heart stopped beating you broke mine,
You left me because God said it was time.
You left me and it shook me to the core,
You left me because God needed you more.
You left me gasping straws to understand,
You left me because for what ever the reason it was God's plan.
You left me knowing all to well life is not fair,
But really you did not leave me, son you are everywhere.
