We have all felt the pain
We have all tried in vain
To achieve a shade from this rain
We have struggled far too long
We have tried to be so strong
But it seems that we were wrong
We are now the lost and cast out
We are now in the presence of no doubt
That this may be an unheard shout
I led them all to their demise
I led them, I heard their cries
Now they drown, before my eyes...
I really liked this poem. Actually I don't believe I've read a poem of yours I didn't like. You seem to be a very accomplished writer. If you don't mind I would appreciate it if you would read a few of my works, tell me what you think about them, and give me some pointers.
