i know you hate

you so despise

the one before

within your eyes

you curse his name

mentally kill

his life you'd love

to gush, to spill

i know you want

to forget this man

but that never was

a part of the plan

a life of love

devotion and admiration

now all torn

from a once great nation

a shattered state

now all consumed

by petty hates

and mutual dooms

forget this man

curse his name

just purge his being

no more thoughts remain...
