They cut into me again last night
Taking out another piece of jumbled flesh
Rewiring my hardware
And I feel less of a person today,
pressing down on scar tissue
Sometimes it feels like a knot or
like a tiny creature nested and invading me
Anyway I want to get in the car and go
Get down on my knees in front of the woman who's
heart I broke first
I want to show you what I've done to myself
and believe it will be enough to
cure this disease between us
Either way I am very tired
and waiting for first snow
I will finish the job then

The scar tissue from
The scar tissue from surgeries is something they never tell you about. I was born lucky enough not to have much potential to grow "keloids" ( I believe the medical term) The healing can actually create problems for some people. (Same for those scars we do not see, I imagine).
The way you write...is so.... I don't even know the word, I want to say "spacey" but it's not really that. "Vague" maybe, but it isn't really that either, because there is some message that always stands out. Just don't know the word.
