We left our hearts to riot within themselves

being under shade of a thousand arrows

and hide it behind a velvet curtain
I will call upon my Talisman,
whisper up many prayers
Sing onto a sky

I wish I were in Wyoming
taking photographs of buffalo
and later seeing your ghost hiss from the fire
I wish that, very much
I am drawn to you
as any one thing could be
Just as every ship is drawn north
or destines itself for land,
I would like to breach you
climb your body like a great pilgrimage
swim across your cold waters
