Last night we slipped into some
blank mirror of ourselves
And the way we moved,
like empty promises
like empty kisses that scorched our face
scars that are still there
from long summers,
sitting on a tin roof
setting leaves on fire
I could see the ground
and the flowers that stood frozen
I could have loved you until our bodies tired
until our mouths went dry
If only this was the sort of hole you
could climb out of
I might of could have saved you
hey
your poem is amazing.!

Lovely! Is the last line
Lovely! Is the last line supposed to be like that? Just making sure I get the right read.

"Well, it's love, but not as we know it."
