You said you were going to call but you

didnt call because you

were out with someone else who

stopped your thoughts of calling

and I sat very very still

for a very very long time

and didnt answer the phone when

you finially got around to calling

cuz

by then my mind was so warped with

all the reasons it took you so long and

what it was you were doing that was

so consuming that you couldnt call

and you said you'd call

but you didnt call

and when you did call

I let it ring



I had nothing to say by then.
