Winter came 

and it changed the stars in my eyes

I wait for you to see. 

there is a hard darkened shadow here, 

one where you can feel the atoms bouncing 

 And I am there when your hair stands up 

fear. confusion. It's all the same gnawing tooth

I want you to look

and you do. You watch that train take me away

not even a wave of remorse for

taking my stars from me.
