Noise comes down from the sky
Sound carries across the field of
haystacks and cats
I am watching the sun set tonight
I am
desperate to keep focus
not lose this moment of whatever this is
Colors ignite,
creep and stretch through clouds
and I say goodbye to this longest of seasons
farewell to the warmth of your memory
hello to the winter of my new birth,
my greying hair,
my resolve to love
with my entire heart
once again

not lose this moment of whatever this is
… delightful this
it just changes like the
it just changes like the seasons, spring will be here soon

This Is A Nice Write - Mellow Mellow Mellow
You had to go there; "hello...to my greying hair..." U hit me where I live, don't cha no! Very nice tone, even, a good place to write from.
Haha! I do apologize for
Haha! I do apologize for hitting home lady A. I am in the beginnings of the greying hair sprouting here and there and it’s hard to get used to. At least you are a seasoned warrior in the battle of the dying pigments. I don’t mind it so much though, it gives off a vibe of character and wisdom that I don’t generally achieve otherwise.
As always, I am grateful for your time and for the read! I enjoy your comments and can count on you to understand What I am getting at. Keep warm and have a lovely weekend!! Hugs
