Sweet apples that adam snatched from a holy tree
A seed implanted into a small womb
Stretching and breaking of skin
A damned lamb with no lion to protect her
Weeping for life as a seed begins to grow into fruit
Bigger and bigger until it bursts into a winter world
Freezing all nature till its death
And father waiting till spring to begin his stealing once more
Eve
I like the image you have created, without seeming fuss, so matter of factly. It's certainly an interesting version of Eve in the garden of Eden and Adam too. I like your poem very much.
