He asked me not to go
So I stayed with him in the sea
Constant waves of confusion
Crashing over me
The sturdy shore beckoned
To which I fervently declines
Even in the turbulent waters
I would not leave him behind
For weeks I stood there with him
Though he offered no further direction
The shore remained loyally
Yet I offered not one affection
The weeks became cold and harsh
But my lips were free of complaint
And when he turned his back
My whisper was quite faint
I asked him not to go
But in the sea he left me to stay
I turned back to the shore to find
It had already drifted away

Elegant and beautiful, Your

Elegant and beautiful,
Your metaphor is so powerful and in the deep blue sea of unknown entities distracted like a moth to flame too afraid to move or offer a direction held captive by the sea and the ice. I just loved everything about this poem and the thoughts that sprung from them after the moments you stole from me were gone. Thanks can I have some more please?
