I started

When you stopped trusting I stopped loving.

When you stopped talking I stopped caring.

When you started ignoring me I started hating.

When you started hugging me I started wishing.

I wished you were dead. When is my wish coming true?

Author's Notes/Comments:

This pretty much puts most adolescent life into words. It's all more or less the same. You gotta take the parents aside and let them know who's boss. I just wish this poem didn't remind me of my ex-girlfriend so much. Long story short, good job.
