My one and first child
I love you with all my heart
I would give you the whole world
just to make you happy
I wish I could take away all
the evil, lies, and pain so you wouldn't
have to live life like me
I wish I could hug you and all your worries
would be gone
But I can't protect you all I can
do is warn you and I know thats not enough
but you'll get through it my child
You will . . . . .
I don't know if you have any children, don't get me wrong I think this poem has great potential, but I just don't feel the love through your words.
