It took me long
to fall and roll in love,
to daydream,
and to paint us nude in my head.
your kisses were soar
and my sighs heavy
yet my midnight skies were you
and so were my morning air
then i found you in my books,
on the walls,
and on my wet bedsheets
i was dancing
and i was hopin' you would see
a life in matrimony
a marriage of flesh and light
i wasn't dreaming,
my bleeding limbs say.
yet to-day,woke up by your sobs
i see us both floating under the midday sun
not knowing who killed who.
Brilliant!
You kept me captivated throughout and then knocked the reader flat out! Great finish.
thank you
thank you
