There is a part of me that’s died,

There is a girl that’s lost in time,

An empty place inside of her,

An empty seat in time.



There is a part of me forsaken,

I took the path that was less taken,

And now I trod, lost in time,

Forgotten why I’m here.



There is sacrifice in love,

It is the joy of dreaming,

But when it ceased, I was erased,

And now I’m lost in time.



Why have you gone,

There are only shades of grey,

Why have I seen worth living

If my outcome is just time?



I can never reach my potential,

I cannot move past this scene,

Love was injured; I was there,

Why did you must stop time?



You cannot control this time,

You are wasting, dreaming fate,

I can see through your bright eyes,

Pain and fear and hate.



There is a part of me that’s died,

There was a path less taken,

We walked along that path in pride

We got lost in time.



Violence took you over edge

I will never breathe again

I cannot get past this life
