One glance at you,
And I fall in love again;
Thinking about what you do,
You have become my best friend.
Baby, you are...
So supportive,
So seductive,
And I love you.
The sound of your voice
Simply puts my heart to ease;
You took the very choice
To fulfill my every needs.
Baby, you are...
So giving,
So appealing,
And I love you.
You never once turned back, baby,
My beautiful Black lady.
My Beautiful Black Lady.
Lovely poem for your lady....nice writing...
Thank you
Thank you for your compliment, but I must share it with my muse. After all, every woman is beautiful in their own right. However, I believe that not enough Afican American women get praised romantically, of course, in fine literature. No offensive to any other race, but I read "About Becausue Love Battles" by Pablo Neruda, "The Census-Taker" by Robert Frost to name a few which addresses the beauty of Hispanic women and Caucasian women... I, on the other hand, want to be the poet like Frorst, Neruda, and Whitman, but embrace my heritage and ones responsible for the strength of the Afican American culture... our beautiful Black women. The Sistas, if you would say. I love my strong Black mothers and strong Black others. I admire women over all. Some call me a male-Feminist. Yet, there is something beautiful about strong African American women and I paint the portraits that I see, not to offend anyone, but to enlighten someone. My apologies for the offenses I caused those who feels the Black women do not deserve poetry written about them and their endless essence. I am sorry. I am opened to reading more about your culture.
