Just picked my son up from school early,
Middle of the week so I’m not in a hurry;
Asked him how was his day in the class?
I wonder he minds if I want to spend cash.
It’s about that time…
I had to call in sick today at work again,
Because I do not stress over job openings;
I just chilled in this morning, slept late,
And made plans to be with my son all day.
It’s about that time…
It’s about time to share,
Why spend time for me-time,
When my son needs me there?
It’s about time for he-time.
Ready to take my babyboy shopping,
Get him clothes for days of showstopping,
With the Louie shoes and some Jays to match,
My son is on top of his game prone to snatch.
It marks today…
Look at my son’s hair about to be retwisted,
His dread game on lock and never missed it;
Take him to the movies and Dave and Busters,
L.J. like grandpa is one of regular action lovers.
It marks today…
It marks today for us
Why spend time for me-time,
When my child is a must,
It’s about time for he-time.
He says he wants ice-cream and cake,
He has that ice-cream with cake over his face;
He says he wants a hotdog and soda,
He holds that hotdog while drinking Coco-Cola.
Time for he-time…
He says he wants the PSP and his iPod,
He plays that PSP and iPod, listening to Tupac;
He says he wants the whole wide world,
I tell him wait a minute, first daddy wants a girl.
Time for he-time…
