A Moment Captured In Time

The warmth of the sun

doeth touch mine cheek

a kiss, a touch of heavenly love

to the depth of my soul

spirits lifted high

frowned lips now turned to a smile

The earth beneath gives but a peek

beneath the blanket of snow and white

and melted snow upon the ground,

makes tiny ponds at every turn and way

And the wind blows light

the sweet breath of life

and echos within, the dreams of man

once spoken, once thought, and unsought

The beauty captured within a moment of time,

to be remembered for all of my life.

Author's Notes/Comments:

The snow was melting the day I wrote this, and the weather was actually giving way to sunlight, and warmth.  I was in Japan when I wrote this, on my day off of work, relaxing at the store while waiting for my fiance to get off of work. ^.^
