we all have different

stories to tell

of angels and god

of death and tunnels

of glass and open wounds

books full of lives

not to be forgotten

legends of kings

and queens

lakes with monsters

scottish spunkies

faeries and will o' the wisps

Pegasus and unicorns

beautiful beasts

from other worlds

dragons spewing fire and ice

so many stories

how to choose?

i have a story to tell

a story of what i am

dizziness and wonderment

hot ice and cold fire

i am your angel

your faeire and your queen

i am glass

i break easily

i want you to read me

but you see my cover

and you pass right by

Author's Notes/Comments: 

i had the idea for this poem a long time ago but i couldn't figure out how to write it. i read this book by francisca lia block called the hanged man and i guess it inspired me because i finally finished it and i got some great ideas from that book.

Yeah I know a lot of people do not read certain books because they hear bad reviews from others. Instead of listening to them they should read it for themselves and then decide. Thanks for the great poetry about this and keep writing!
