~Time~

(challenge free verse poem)







Time comes and it goes

we never know when it will end

Time stretches its hungry arms

and like tentacles we feel its force.



Time is like a slippery rubber band

it pulls and draws us in,and can break at any time.

Sometimes it is time to say goodbye

and toss our hats and grab to hope.



Time can take us to many levels

and it is not always the same

Time can give us pearls of wisdom

as it ages us from outside and within

Time waits for no one and

it deliver us punches like no one does.



Time just continues on and on

and it cruelly strike us at times

There's no much we can do

When it is time to say good-bye

that's it!

We all face pain and tears

Then judgement day arrives

as our time comes and it goes.
