When troubled or distressed I am my friend,

God  hushes all my woes and fears,

He soothes my heart and soul

And gathers me closer in His arms divine



I refuse to be at all defeated

My eyes are upon His majestic face

As I am resting on His love divine

He will help me win each race



When circumstances threathen my life,

And weakness takes control of my heart and soul,

To rob me from all my peace of mind

In His divine Strength I will forever dwell.
