CUPIDS HEART

I cann't still believe it

What today I came to learn,

Going all through my lost mind

What a great treasure I had found.

This wonderful feeling went around

To me like a bright glowing light,

Very warm and so conforting,

Came straight from Cupid's heart.

Dancing so happy to be home again

I welcomed him  back in my mind,

His love had renewed my whole life

And like the sun above shown me love.

Blown away! I was by all this emotions

I opened up to him all my heart,

Now love and dreams I get to keep

Again I had found my lost love's treasures!

There is a powerful and refreshing, life-giving beauty of the spirit within the depths of "CUPID'S HEART". Quatrain stanzas with moving, natural imagery creatively salted with the simile, metaphoric and personificatory lines, empower the uplifting and loving breath of this poem! This is a treasurable celebration of love in all of its radiant beauty. After going through the normal; but cold hands of grave: "THE SILENT"' I am alive again with love within our human essence. Just listen calmly, as Dorian, gladly ehoes these soul- touching lines: "Dancing so happy to be home again I welcomed him back in my mind His love renewed my whole life And like the sun above, shown me love. Blown away! I was by all this emotions I opened up to him all my heart, Now, love and dreams I get to keep Again, I had found my lost love's treasures!" May this bountiful "renewal", this treasurable acceptance of love in its homely form - this loving dreams and dancing happiness; last humanity and Dorian, for all eternity because "I can't still believe it What today I came to learn Going all through my lost mind What a great treasure I had found": LOVE! Indeed!!: "If I speak in tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. ... And now, these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love." ~1 Corinthians 13 Thank you so much, Dorian, for letting humanity and me into your: "CUPID'S HEART"!! Ugonna

Dear Sis, This is a wonderful poem showing much love and caring. You have a great big wonderful heart with much love within. I feel so honored to have you in my life. I am sorry that I have not been in contact much with you. I have had so many things keeping me so busy. I just got home from Florida and I had a great time. I learned so much while I was there and made some wonderful new friends from all over the world. I did not win at the convention but I AM STILL A WINNER. I had some very stiff competion and there were over 1200 poets there competing. I not only learned much about writing poetry but I also learned many things about myself...so the trip was worth what I learned. I also was fortunate enough to help a 26 year old young lady with some personal problems so that was worth a great deal too. Sis...keep up the good work and hope to talk with you soon. If you would send me your phone number by email I would call you. Keep well and God bless. Remember Sis that you are in my heart, my thoughts, and my prayers all the time. LUV, ANGEL EVE
