Love Me Or Leave Me

How can you look me in my eyes

And say that you care

When deep down inside

You didn’t want to be here

If there was someplace else

That you wanted to be

I would have left you alone

So that you could be free

You pretend that you love me

I was the fool

That you played like a game

You put in a quarter

And got back your change

That little fragment

Was a piece of my heart

Something you took out my chest

And tore all apart

So when you say that you love me

You don’t have to lie

Because the way you really feel

You shouldn’t have to hide

But you stand in my face

And tell me lies

Knowing it would be easier

To just say GOODBYE
