Days went by without a trace

I exit a phase in all disgrace

Bleeding heart, teary eyed

I walk the dark life I spied



I live now in the shadow of a past

Forgetful of the love once was cast

Sorrow and pain surrounds me

As I face the tall waves of the sea



I move, still searching for the light

Hoping to find the strength to fight

Though memories of you floods

To the misery of loneliness I nod



I now cry in plea for freedom

From memories of you and what I've become

I look up high for my salvation

Let the winds blow away my emotions



For I have chosen a road and soon

Will walk the path of moving on
