Something very few get
A family is what I mean
Do you have any yet?
The smallest of communities
Whose members would unite
Help each other in survival
Together they would fight
But many have mistaken it
That it will only spud
If comprised of dad, mom and kids
They should be of same blood
But many thought of otherwise
There’s more to it than that
A family should be of love
Or else it would be flat
A family is any group
Where one feels he belong
There may not be a dad or mom
But there is love so strong
It is what many people want
And thought very few get
A family is what I mean
No can you say you’ve met?
