You wanted to think that if you left

I would be devastated

But something shoulda told ya

By the way you said I love you

And I hesitated

Maybe you never meant it and only faked it

But it was fast to the point

Where I was afraid and couldn't take it

If you thought you'd have a life with me

You know you were mistaken

It took no time til you ignored me

And I was forsaken

You're so young and naive

Takin hearts just to break em

Whoever said age ain't nothin but a number

And put that in your head

I really hate em

When you're all alone and regrettin it all

Don't forget that you

Were the one that let yourself fall

Or so you said you did

So when you want me to and I don't call

Remember you thought we'd be friends

With all the lies you always said

But I'll be strong

And maybe you'll be so weak you'll fall and then crawl

Don't think that I'll stay down long

Everything you did will only make me grow

One of has to learn how to be strong

Maybe I was stupid

To trust so much

But after all I've been through

An eighteen year old

Spendin that much on a ho like you really sucks
