Shouting
We spend our lives trying to be heard,
Attempting to break out of the rush of life and into the light,
Most of us give up before we have learned,
That sometimes talking is wrong and Shouting is right.
Shouting is right as far as we know,
Nobody will listen if we don’t.
Even if you keep your voice soft and low,
The rest of the world certainly won’t.
Yell! Scream! At the top of your lungs!
Waste more air! Get a little louder!
Be smart and punctual with your tongues!
Use your words and sing them prouder!
Now imagine the world if everyone shouted,
And nobody listened.
Nobody would have pouted,
But no words would have glistened.
Take the time out of your day to hear,
Life is a concert, be able to take it in,
Do not shout over a fellow peer,
Instead invite them to shout, and progress within.
