ALIEN EYES.
Eyes watch the Earth
in the dead of the night,
eyes that see sights
that bring them delight.
From the universe other minds
long to be here
on a planet they see
as so lovely and fair.
Eyes watch the sea
and delight in the view,
watch dolphins that leap
and bright coral reefs hue,
undersea gardens
all teeming with fish,
their eyes show their longing
to visit, their wish.
Eyes watch from above,
their luminous spheres
reflecting a yearning,
welling with tears.
As stars gleam from heaven
in dark skies above
Alien eyes scan
our planet with love.
