FALLUJAH: A REMINDER OF OUR DIVISION

FALLUJAH: A REMINDER OF OUR DIVISION

Yes, civilization started along the Tigris and Euphrates; but notwithstanding

Our origins, we are now at the point of a complete division of everything

That can be called civilization: The Syriac name Pullugtha means division.

And what a division it was as chemical weapons were dropped separating flesh

From bones; such a schism is more than ideological. In a world of petro dollars,

Who can measure the loss of human life and how many barrels of oil does it cost.

Imposing democracy through force is anathema to democracy; and to promote

Capitalism and the privatization of their  resources is to do what the Bush regime

Wants; control over their oil –production, labor. Etc. by American kleptocrats

If oil is disrupted by Chechens of Russian pipelines or in the Middle East there

Is hell to pay; it seems that the progress of civilization is also its bane.  We are

Divided not by caste or creed but by the barrels of oil production in our world.

Where is the outrage for the carnage of Fallujah?  No less than a Sunni has for

A Shiite; no less than a yank for a rebel; no less than an Osama for a 9/11; no less than anyone would  have against occupation of their country.

Today, terrorism is accepted as the cost of doing business and a tax reduction. Only

Insurgents are labeled but the exorbitant gains of oil companies during Kartrina

Make up for the losses of oil production; the cost is always to people everywhere.

Dying for oil is not the same as dying for democracy. Plutocracy has no alliance to

Tribe country or ideology.  Is this the way to treat the cradle of civilization?  The

Hand that rocks that cradle  is the hand that guides its own destiny to rise or fall.
