ON DEATH ROW
On death row, lost all appeals
Waiting for the dead man walking hour
Last request at your behest
Ordered Chinese food with sweet and sour
Mount the metal table for lethal injection
They say you don’t feel any pain
But they cannot guarantee that’s true
Cause you’re too numb to complain
They say we don’t execute retards
Or kill kids that are under age
Nor kill any innocent folk
With our indignant rage
A pound of flesh is what’s due
Justice must be avenged
Hang em high let em fry
All crimes must be revenged
Make a movie, call it “Monster”
Make sure she gets the chair
When will we every have compassion
For souls with out love or care.
thank you so much for your powerful poem

I really like that poem Sai. When will we have compassion and will it be too late by the time we do or is it ever too late . lol! Anyway i think its wicked , i never thought about writing a poem about death row before!
