The way you are acting today is strange,

Peculiar in every way

You don't show any emotions

And in almost every way, you've changed

I tell you that I love you and,

You say the same thing back

But I know that you don't mean it

Eye contact and emotion, you lack

I look in your eyes, you turn away

Crushing my heart and soul

I know now that there is someone else

But still, I don't want you to go

If only I could make you stay,

Make you love me the way I do you

But if you are not willing to try

Then just go to your somebody new
