Love.
What is it, but a word?
An emotion that can turn your world
upside down.
A feeling so strong, no other can compare
to the way it makes you feel;
Giddy. Happy. Safe.
Yet, it can hurt so bad that
you want to lie in one place and
Just die;
Slowly shrink to nothing.
Or, it will explode in your head,
(for the heart really plays no part at all),
and you take risks.
You rearrange yourself so much, yet for the better
(or so it seems,
to the love-sick fool you become).
But, in the end, when it all goes wrong,
do you ever question yourself,
Or ask;
"Why did I change?"
