Nature In My Heart
Just as the winds blow....
So do the emotions in my heart....
they change and turn
some intense, some calm
Just as the thunder roars....
So do the voices in my heart....
demanding to be heard
aching to be understood
Just as the rains come....
So do the tears in my heart....
I cry for things to come
for what was never meant to be
Just as the snow falls....
So does the chill in my heart....
withdrawing into myself
cold to those wanting in
Just as the clouds disappear....
So does the sadness in my heart....
acceptance of who I am
the willingness to go on
Just as the warm sun shines....
So does the love in my heart....
for friends who have touched my life
and good times yet to come.

Because I am a child of nature, I deeply feel the justness of this poem: "NATURE IN MY HEART". There is an unfolding enchantment in every line...
Ahhhhh...i have to agree with Jennifer.. this poem simply SHIMMERS with wonderful striking imageries...i too love the metaphors u chose and so skilfully painted.... especially the wind and snow and thunder.~!! Interesting theme...~! Smilesz
